Amalthea Academy Terms and Conditions
Program Admissions Policy
We reserve the right to select students based on a holistic evaluation of their application. This evaluation considers factors such as academic performance, demonstrated interest in STEM or related fields, and personal statements. The admissions process is highly selective to ensure that students admitted into the program are well-suited to benefit from our personalized mentorship and rigorous curriculum.
The selection process is conducted by a panel of experienced educators and mentors who carefully review each application. Admission decisions are final and cannot be appealed. If a student is not accepted, they are encouraged to reapply after three months. While we strive to maintain fairness and transparency throughout the process, due to the program’s exclusive nature, we are unable to provide detailed feedback on individual applications or outcomes. We strongly recommend that students present their most comprehensive and accurate application materials to increase their likelihood of admission.
Payment Terms
To confirm enrollment in the program, full payment of the program fee is required prior to the first scheduled mentorship session. If payment is not received by the specified deadline, the student’s place in the program may be forfeited, and the program slot may be offered to another candidate on the waitlist. We accept payments through various secure methods, and details will be provided upon acceptance into the program.
Program Refund Policy
Our refund policy is designed to accommodate those who may find the program does not meet their expectations. A 100% refund of the program fee is available if a request is made by Week 4 of the program. A 50% refund is available for withdrawal requests made by Week 6. After Week 6, no refunds will be provided.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used. We strongly encourage students and families to assess their commitment to the program during the early stages to determine if it is the right fit.
Withdrawal Policy
You may withdraw from the program at any time. However, a formal written request must be submitted to the program’s administration. The withdrawal request must clearly state the reason for withdrawal, the student’s last attended session, and be emailed to admissions@amaltheaacademy.com. Any refund eligibility will be based on the Program Refund Policy timeline.
Course Content and Changes
Amalthea Academy is devoted to providing high-quality, personalized mentorship and a customized educational experience for each student. While we make every effort to deliver the curriculum as initially outlined, we reserve the right to modify course content or syllabi as needed to ensure that we maintain the highest academic standards and adapt to student needs or evolving research topics.
Program Cancellation
In the event of unforeseen circumstances that necessitate the cancellation of the program, Amalthea Academy reserves the right to cancel or postpone sessions. If the program is canceled due to factors beyond our control, such as natural disasters or other significant disruptions, we will offer a full refund. All students and families will be notified immediately in the event of such cancellations, and we will
work to provide alternative solutions if possible.
Conduct
At Amalthea Academy, we value a respectful, collaborative, and professional learning environment. All participants are expected to uphold these standards throughout the program. This includes showing respect for mentors, peers, and staff, adhering to deadlines, and actively engaging in all program activities. Any disruptive behavior, failure to follow program guidelines, or insufficient participation will result in a formal warning. In extreme cases, students may be removed from the program.
We encourage open communication and are happy to address any concerns that may arise during the program. Students and families are urged to reach out to the program administration for clarification on expectations regarding behavior and performance.
Technology and Equipment Requirements
Students are responsible for ensuring they have access to a reliable computer, internet connection, and any necessary software or tools required for research and program participation. Amalthea Academy will provide guidance on any specialized tools or resources needed but is not responsible for supplying hardware or ensuring compatibility with personal devices.
Parental Involvement and Communication
Parents or guardians are encouraged to stay informed of their child’s progress throughout the program. Regular updates will be provided via email, and parents are welcome to reach out to the program administration with any concerns. However, we expect students to independently manage their research and academic responsibilities.
Liability Waiver
By participating in Amalthea Academy, students and their guardians agree that the program is provided on an “as-is” basis and that Amalthea Academy is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur as a result of participation. This includes, but is not limited to, any technical failures, lost research, or disruption in program services.
